Description

Fabrication and assembly of a complete ammonia injection system

Key points

  • Modular design
  • Skid mounted assembly
  • Installation of all mechanical and electrical components
  • Test run in shop prior to delivery

Benefits

  • Significant savings due to modular design and in-shop assembly
  • Smooth field commissioning due to in-shop test run

Over the past 17 years, Ideal Welders has fabricated over 50 of these units for Hitachi Zosen and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

The units are fully contained skid mounted ammonia injection systems for use in stack gas scrubbing applications at power generation facilities.

Based on designs provided by our customers, Ideal Welders developed a complete set of shop drawings. Our scope included fabrication and erection of structural steel, pipe fabrication and installation, E&I, painting and insulation.

Skids fully commissioned prior to shipping

Completion

Once the skids were complete, it was Ideal Welders' responsibility to fully commission the skids in the shop prior to shipping. This ensured that the units would be fully functional as quickly as possible when received at the site.
