  • Total heater weight 170,000 lbs each.
  • Shipped by tucks and trailers via permitted night moves to surrey dock where they were loaded unto a ship and taken to site via the Panama Canal. All associated ducting and piping crated for shipment.
  • All electrical and instrumentation installations coordinated by Ideal and completed at Ideals shop.

The Project

Ideal supplied and fabricated 3 typical gas fired thermal fluid heater assemblies and all associated economizer ductwork and spooling. All three heaters had Chrome Moly ASTM A387 GR 11 shell construction. Concentrically nested internal 4" & 5" Schedule 80 coil assemblies fabricated and tested in accordance with ASME Section 8 Div. 1 specifications. All installation of Pyro-Bloc insulation and external mineral wool insulation & cladding completed by Ideal. All electrical and instrumentation installations coordinated by Ideal and all completed at Ideals shop.
