Commitment to Industry Standards

We are dedicated to delivering results that align with the most rigorous construction codes in the industry. Our expertise spans a wide range of standards, including:
 

ASME B31.1, B31.3, Section I, VIII, AWS D1.1 & D1.6, CSA W59, B51, API 620, DNV, Lloyds Register, etc.
 

We ensure compliance with key legislative requirements in the areas in which we operate; including but not limited to the British Columbia Safety Standards Act and Regulations and the Alberta Safety Codes Act.

In-House Testing Capabilities

As a Recognized Testing Agency in good standing with Technical Safety BC (TSBC), we perform welder performance qualification tests and assist welders in renewing their qualifications including Class A (TSBC).

Certifications and Compliance

We work closely with experienced inspectors to ensure every project complies with rigorous safety and quality regulations. From detailed NDE reports to visual testing (VTs) and magnetic particle testing (MTs), we ensure every step of the process is documented with precision.

Ideal Welder's Quality Assurance department maintains full responsibility over our quality processes and goes the extra mile to ensure the highest standards.

As NDE activities are performed by our trusted on-site, third-party NDE subcontractor, we are responsible for the following:

Approving procedures, written practices, and personnel certifications. 

Verifying visual acuity records and vetting all reports for compliance. 

Coordinating NDE activities to integrate seamlessly into production schedules. 

Maintaining comprehensive records of all NDE activities.
